When You’ve Done the Work but Still Feel Stuck
Share
You’ve done the brave thing.
You’ve shown up to therapy.
You’ve named hard stories.
You’ve started to notice patterns that once felt hidden.
And still… some things don’t seem to shift.
If you’ve ever found yourself thinking, “Why do I keep coming back to this?” — you’re not alone. Many people reach a point where weekly therapy is meaningful, but doesn’t quite create the movement they were hoping for.
Sometimes it’s not about doing more.
Sometimes it’s about having the space to stay.
What Is a Soul Care Intensive?
A Soul Care Intensive is a five-day, one-on-one therapeutic experience that creates room for deeper, more sustained work.
You’ll spend each morning with Lisa, a licensed therapist trained in trauma and attachment work, including:
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
- Internal Family Systems
Rather than stopping after an hour, you’re able to remain with what’s coming up—following it with curiosity and care.
Afternoons and evenings are intentionally left open.
Time to rest.
To reflect.
To walk, journal, or pray.
Time for your nervous system to settle and for the work to integrate.
It’s a slower pace.
More spacious.
More attentive to what your system needs.
Who Might This Be Helpful For?
This kind of space can be helpful if you:
- Notice recurring emotional patterns that feel hard to shift
- Want to explore unresolved trauma or attachment wounds
- Are becoming aware of different “parts” of yourself and how they show up
- Sense there may be more underneath the surface, but haven’t had the space to stay with it
It can be especially meaningful when you feel close to something important—but need more time and support to move through it.
A Thoughtful First Step
Lisa offers a Zoom consultation before scheduling an intensive. It’s simply a chance to explore whether this kind of experience feels like a good fit.
There’s no pressure—just a conversation.
When More Space Feels Right
There are seasons when an hour at a time is enough.
And there are seasons when something in you is asking for more space—
to slow down,
to stay with what’s coming up,
to gently move toward clarity.
A Soul Care Intensive is one way of making that kind of space available.
