What Becomes Possible When You Have More Time

Sometimes, an hour of conversation can open a door—but what happens when you need more time to walk through it?

Life rarely gives us much room to pause. We move from one responsibility to the next, care for the people around us, and do our best to meet the demands of each day. Yet even when life looks fine on the outside, we may sense there are deeper things worth exploring.

Old patterns. Unresolved experiences. Stories we’ve carried for years that still influence how we relate to ourselves and others.

You don’t have to be in crisis to want something to change. Sometimes, you’re simply ready to understand yourself more deeply and move toward greater freedom.

A Soul Care Intensive offers the time and space to do just that.

Over five days, you’ll work one-on-one with licensed therapist Lisa Cuss, with dedicated time each morning to explore the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that have shaped you. Using therapeutic approaches such as EMDR and Internal Family Systems, Lisa will help you approach this work with curiosity and compassion—not with the assumption that something about you needs fixing, but with the hope of greater understanding, healing, and growth.

And unlike a typical therapy appointment, the work doesn’t have to end when the session does.

Your afternoons and evenings are intentionally left open, giving you room to rest, reflect, and process what emerges. There’s no need to rush back into a packed schedule or immediately shift your attention to the next thing. You have space to let the experience settle and consider what it means for your life.

Insight matters, but sometimes we need more than a brief glimpse into what’s happening beneath the surface. We need the time and support to stay curious, make connections, and begin to experience meaningful change.

That’s what makes an intensive different.

Soul Care Intensives are fully booked for 2026, and we’re now welcoming inquiries for future openings.

If you’ve been wondering whether a more focused season of therapeutic work might be a good fit for you, we’d love to connect and help you explore the possibility.
