You’ve done the brave thing. You’ve shown up to therapy. You’ve named hard stories. You’ve begun untangling patterns. And yet… some pieces still feel stuck. If you’ve ever thought, “Why do I keep circling the same thing?” — you’re not alone. Many people reach a point where weekly therapy, while helpful, isn’t quite enough to move through deeper layers of trauma, attachment wounds, or long-standing emotional cycles. Sometimes what’s needed isn’t more time spread out over months.Sometimes it’s focused space. That’s where a Soul Care Intensive with Lisa can open new doors.

Free Live Masterclass this month!

As a new year begins, many of us feel an unspoken pressure to become a “better version” of ourselves. But what Steve has seen—over fourteen years of teaching these tools—is that real change rarely comes from trying harder or starting over.

Breaking Habits that Cost More than We Realize

Most of us don’t wake up intending to wear ourselves—or our people—down. And yet, under pressure, we all develop automatic habits. How we respond when things don’t go as plannedHow we manage tension or resistanceHow we carry anxiety without realizing it Over time, those habits quietly cost more than we intend. In the upcoming free live webinar, Breaking Habits That Cost Too Much, Steve Cuss will help name the invisible dynamics behind these patterns—and show how simply noticing them can bring real relief. Not because you try harder. But because you stop carrying what isn’t yours. You’re invited to join the live, free teaching at any of the following times: January 26 — 9:00 AM or 4:00 PM MTJanuary 29 — 9:00 AM or 4:00 PM MT Many people describe this work as clarifying, grounding, and surprisingly freeing. 👉 Save your spot here

Happy New Year from Capable Life

A new year always carries a quiet invitation—to pause, reflect, and take a breath before stepping forward again. As we enter this new year, we’re mindful that many of us are carrying a mix of hope, fatigue, gratitude, and uncertainty. Life doesn’t reset overnight just because the calendar changes. And yet, there is grace in beginnings. At Capable Life, we believe growth doesn’t come from pushing harder or fixing yourself—it comes from learning how to stay present, grounded, and human in the middle of real life. This year, our hope is that you experience more space to notice what’s happening inside you, more courage to respond thoughtfully, and more freedom to live from a place of connection. Thank you for being part of this community. Whether you’ve been with us for years or you’re just beginning to explore the tools, we’re grateful to walk alongside you. May this year be marked not by pressure to become someone new, but by gentleness as you become more fully yourself. Happy New Year,The Capable Life Team

As this year closes, your generosity helps leaders be well

In 2025 we received $35,000 to support under-resourced global leaders. We were able to offer scholarships, resources, and training—and leaders eagerly said yes. Together, we were able to provide: Trauma therapy with licensed therapists for missionaries in Jordan, Bulgaria, and Iran Workbooks and video resources for inmates in a Texas prison and a church in the Philippines Online community enrollment for global workers in Kenya, Jordan, Bulgaria, Namibia, Burkina Faso, Germany, the UK, and the USA Discounted enrollment for leaders in our new Helping Others community A full day of in-person training for a national staff of 75 serving terminally ill children and their families A training scheduled for 2026 in Namibia for local church leaders A 5-Day Intensive in Colorado for six leaders who will now multiply this work in their own countries As we look ahead, our hope is to triple our impact in 2026, serving more leaders before they reach the end of their rope. As you consider your end-of-year giving, would you prayerfully consider making a donation to help us serve more missionaries and global leaders in the year ahead? Give Today Thank you for partnering with us in this important work. Because of you, leaders are finding steadiness, clarity, and hope—and their mission is stronger for it. With gratitude,Steve CussOn behalf of the Capable Life team
